Governor Diri Seeks Collaboration on Bayelsa Airlines
Bayelsa state governor Douye Diri has said that the Minister of Petroleum for state Heineken Lokpobiri and the Niger Delta Development Commission Managing Director have a role to play on the Bayelsa airlines.
The governor made the disclosure during the commissioning of Bayelsa newly acquired airplanes. The commissioning of the Bayelsa airlines owned by the state government is years after the clamour by residents of the difficulty in accessing states in the south West and the federal capital by air.
The governor lauded the roles of the NDDC MD and the Petroleum Minister of state for their roles in the project. On their part, the Minister of state petroleum and the NDDC boss assured partnership with the state government.
